Jacques LévesqueGeneral and medical director CAR (Canadian Association of Radiologists) President Elect Mammography, bone densitometry, pediatric radiology, Facets block injection, and DentaScan specialist Dr. Lévesque completed his medical education in 1975 and graduated in 1981 in Diagnostic Radiology from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He then worked at the Hôpital St‐François d’Assise in Quebec City, Quebec (1981‐1991) and at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université Laval in Ste‐Foy, Quebec (1991‐1994). From 1998 to 2004, Dr. Lévesque was the Chief of the Department of Radiology at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Québec (CHUQ). He is currently a Clinical Professor in radiology at the Université Laval in Quebec City. Involved in the establishment of new technologies in his region and the province, Dr. Lévesque is responsible for the establishment of PACS in 52 establishments of the RUIS Laval. He is also active in the process of bulk purchases for advanced medical technology with a budget of $315 million. He oversees the clinical and technical evaluation of the recommended equipment. Since 1993, Dr. Lévesque has been on the Board of Directors of l’Association des Radiologistes du Québec (ARQ) where he was a Secretary, then 1st Vice‐President until 2009. He was particularly active in mammography projects (establishment of the PQDCS),BMD and new technologies. Now he is the president-elect of the Canadian Association of radiologist (CAR). |

André LamarreHead of the radiology department at CHUQ (Organisation that group 3 major hospitals in Quebec City) Facets block injection, virtual colonoscopy, pediatric radiology and CT specialist Dr. André Lamarre is a physician specialized in diagnostic radiology accredited in Quebec and Canada since 1999. He further completed a subspecialty in interventional angiography and as well as vascular and abdominal MRI (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois, Lausanne, Switzerland). He subsequently completed a training in virtual colonoscopy. He practices at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Quebec (CHUQ), CHUL Hospital since 2001. He is currently the Head of Department of Medical Imaging department at CHUQ and was previously head of the Department of Radiology at the Jeffery Hale Hospital.
Dr. Lamarre is the author or co-authored about 30 publications, courses or presentations on topics related to radiology. He is as well an examiner during specialty exams in Diagnostic Radiology for the Royal College of Canada, as well as clinical professor at Laval University. |

Ghislain BrousseauHead of the Radiology Department at Université Laval CT, mammography, virtual colonoscopy, and pediatric radiology specialist Dr. Brousseau is a physician specializing in diagnostic radiology. He practices at the CHUL hospital since 1996 (Centre Hospitalier de L’Université Laval, an hospital that is part of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Quebec (CHUQ)). His areas of expertise include CT and magnetic resonance imaging.
In addition to his clinical duties, he oversees the radiology residents and is responsible for several courses and workshops at Université Laval. Dr. Brousseau is also responsible for teaching pre-doctoral students at the Université Laval faculty of medicine. He has authored or co-authored about 41 publications, courses or lectures on various topics related to radiology and participated in several research projects. He was as well head of diagnostic radiology department at CHUL from 1998 to 2001 and is still involved in several hospital committees and faculty. |

Barbara RiedererCT, mammography, ultrasound imaging (sonography), muskuloskeletal (MSK), virtual colonoscopy, and pediatric radiology specialist Dr. Riederer is a specialist in diagnostic radiology accredited in Quebec and Canada since 1991. She practices at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Quebec, CHUL’s hospital since 1998. Her areas of expertise include CT and musculoskeletal imaging. Dr. Riederer has authored or co-authored about 13 publications, courses or presentations on radiology. She is a clinical professor at Laval University and supervises residents in radiology. In addition, she was interim Head of the radiology department at the CHUL hospital between the summer of 1998 and the spring of 1999. She remains very active in her community through involvement in various committees and projects. |
